The Star Tavern (Belgravia, West London)
Synonymous with London's gangland in the 50s and 60s, The Star Tavern housed many of Britain's most infamous gangsters including Billy Hill and Ronnie Biggs.
It is said that in the early 1960s Ronnie Biggs and his gang sat in this pub and planned what would be one of the greatest crimes of the 20th century - the Great Train Robbery.
