The drummer from The Jam, along with fellow band member Bruce Foxton, fought a long court case with The Jam's former lead singer Paul Weller, claiming they were entitled to a greater share of the band's royalties. They settled out of court.
However it may have not been enough - now Buckler has carved out a new career as a furniture restorer. He said: "People think because you are famous that you must be really in the money but I still have to work to earn a living. I have a mortgage and bills to pay and I didn't walk away from The Jam with very much money at all".
