Probably due to the fact that his death was such a mystery, Bruce Lee's passing has inspired a number of conspiracy theories. A particularly interesting one is that the martial arts master's death was faked so that he could then be sent as the ultimate secret agent to bring down the triads in China.

As Martin Freeman's character Tim says in 'The Office' when told about the myth: "Because you would send the world's most recognisable martial arts star undercover with the triads."
