We all know that chocolate is a sin but it should also be noted just how dangerous it can be! Chocolate contains the alkaloid theobromine, which in high doses can be toxic to humans.

It would take a vast amount of chocolate to achieve this. However other species react much worse: dogs, parrots, horses, and cats can easily be killed by ingesting chocolate.
