Water
We are constantly being advised to drink eight glasses of water a day to reap the benefits of easing tiredness, aiding concentration, clearing the skin and helping you lose weight. But it can get you into deep water.
You can drink too much and actually die from water intoxication also known as hyponatraemia, this occurs if more enters the body than can be removed. Water then dilutes the body fluids and levels of sodium, causing blood cells to swell and cease functioning.
