Known as: A musician
Then: An author
The leader of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds (known for his infamous duet with Kylie Minogue on 'Where the Wild Roses Grow') isn't just about dark rock and deranged preacher-like stage shows. In addition to his iconic and individual music, Nick Cave is also a celebrated fiction writer.
He recently published his second novel, 'The Death of Bunny Munro' – a vulgar, twisted, descent into addiction, vices and degraded family values that comes off as a cross between William Faulkner and Benny Hill on a road trip around Brighton. His first novel was 'And the Ass Saw the Angel, published in 1989. He also wrote the screenplay for the Australian outback western 'The Proposition' in 2005.
