What really happened:It was revealed that a "significant number" of callers had no chance of winning as the winner had already been picked. The company behind the quiz scam, Opera Interactive Technology admitted to "certain irregularities". The Managing Director of GMTV, Paul Corley resigned.
But that's not all! 'This Morning' with Phil and Fern also suspended their phone-in competitions and ITV even axed their quiz channel, ITV Play. Even hit TV show 'The X Factor' was investigated to uncover whether or not viewers votes, for their favourite talent, had been fairly calculated.
