Tony Adams was the youngest ever Arsenal captain and a regular in the England national team. However he was also part of the heavy drinking culture of English football in the late 80s and early 90s. He was convicted of drink driving in 1991 and sentenced to three months.
He served 58 days and went on to kick his habit, win two league and FA Cup doubles under Arsene Wenger at Arsenal and captain England. He has also set up the Sporting Chance clinic to help sportsmen and women with their addictions.
