Ever since 3D started to become the focus of the film industry, the gaming world has begun to hear rumours that the obsession would also transfer to the console industry.
Now, Nintendo has announced that its next big release would be the Nintendo 3DS.
The 5.3-inch wide, 2.9-inch long console requires no glasses due to its two screen console. The top screen is a 3.53 widescreen LCD whilst the bottom screen has touch capabilities.
The 3DS has an inner camera and two outer cameras which measure 640 x 480 resolution and can hold a 2GB 3DS game card.
Wireless communication allows the user to connect with others and can still exchange data whilst not in use.
They have also included an embedded microphone and stereo speakers.
The new Nintendo 3DS is slated to be released in early 2011.
