This is not a joke. The WALKING HOUSE is the Danish-based invention by n55 which allows humans to dwell in a moving home.

The small home moves around on six stilts at speeds of 60 metres per hour and designed to allow the inhabitants a chance to view different surroundings every day.

Whilst it is not yet known how the house will find different destinations, the house comes complete with everything you would need to live, including its own greenhouse to produce food and living room to watch the world go by.

The house collects rain water which is then used for drinking and bathing, whilst a solar powered heater warms up the water.

Each component can hold up to four people, but can be extended, and can also be attached to other houses in order to create a walking village.
