Levi Roots was at the World Food Market in November 2005, playing his guitar and selling his sauce, when he was approached by the producers of Dragons' Den who asked him if he would do a screen test for the programme.
After a showy pitch, Dragons' Den judges Peter Jones and Richard Farleigh each paid Brixton-based Mr Roots £25,000 in return for a 20% stake in his company.
Merely two years later he's the proud co-owner - along with the Dragons - of Britain's second biggest selling sauce. He's currently working on products and has recently launched his new Reggae Reggae Chicken Sub at Subway.
