All five of the dragons were interested in this spellbinding product, each trying to undercut the other's offer before Duncan Bannatyne invested £200,000 in it, but what does it do?
Invented by Chris Barnardo and Richard Blakesley, the Kymera Wand is actually a buttonless remote control activated and programmed via the user's gestures. Much like the Nintendo Wii system, a flick of the wrist can perform an array of actions - in this case it can control light switches, TVs, laptops, hifis and plenty more after the user tunes it in to as many as 13 different devices.
The inventors have already sold over 20,000 Kymera Wands since the launch in September 2009, expanding their sales contacts to 41 countries. They expect a turnover of £2million in the coming year with the help of Bannatyne.
The Dragon said: "I see the magic wand rolling out very quickly over the next six months and I think it will do very, very well."
