Almost anyone can cook Bolognese and it's likely to go down a treat with the family – making the ideal leftovers meal. And if you've never tried it cold you're missing out.
And if cold lasagne – which isn't a million miles away from the tomato-based bolognaise – can work, why can't another Italian favourite?

As always when you're making it, it's important to drain away the fat as the mince is cooking. This is especially important if you've not opted for lean mince and as the fat will congeal when cold making for a rather unpleasant eating experience.
