Cheryl Cole and Tre Holloway have only had three dates, but Tre’s mum has already voiced her concerns regarding the budding relationship. 

 

The mother of LA-based backing dancer Tre is concerned that the 29-year-old singer may break Tre’s heart.

 

Shirley Holloway, who now lives in her home in the US, said: “She might hurt him. She’s been married before.” Cole’s love history is in contrast with that of Tre, who, his mum revealed, is still somewhat ‘inexperienced’ when it comes to the romance department. 

 

Tre, however, has insisted that he won’t treat Cheryl like her ex-husband did. Shirley assured this: “He wouldn’t do that. That’s not him.” 

 

Shirley has not met Cole, but she has already gotten the impression that her son is ‘quite into’ the singer. He has told his mother that the singer ‘likes’ him.

 

“Of course I’m curious to meet her. If this is a serious relationship then I’m looking forward to meeting her because I trust Tre’s judgment. If he likes her, then she must be a good person.”

 

On Cheryl’s side, the singer’s mum Joan and her brother Garry are said to be in favor of the new relationship and are looking forward to meeting Tre soon. The relationship seems to be going smoothly, despite Tre’s having come clean about his apparently modest financial means.
