Rapper Snoop Dogg has been accused of seriously assaulting a fan at a concert.
Richard Monroe claims the hip-hop star, members of his entourage and fellow rapper The Game kicked and punched him after he was invited to join them on stage in Seattle on Saturday night (28.05.05).
After the alleged beating, Monroe says the rappers and their crews stole his diamond earrings, wallet, watch and mobile phone and humiliated him by pouring alcohol over him.
The alleged victim also claims he was dragged backstage where the savage attack continued.
Monroe said: "They beat me like a slave."
Monroe gave a statement to Seattle police on Sunday night (29.05.05), but as yet no charges have been filed against Snoop or The Game, according to American website E Online.
In home video footage of the incident, Monroe is seen putting his hand on Snoop's shoulder before being attacked by several people - although it is not clear whether the two high-profile stars were involved.
Snoop's publicist, Meredith O'Sullivan, released a statement yesterday (31.05.05) denying Monroe had been invited on stage and said he was treated as a security threat.
She said: "Any person who jumps onstage at a concert has to be interpreted as a security threat and an immediate risk."
