Sadie's wedding disaster

'Emmerdale' beauty Sadie King is devastated when her posh wedding descends into chaos.

The bitchy character, who is played by Patsy Kensit, can't wait to tie the knot with aristocrat Alasdair after a whirlwind romance - but the nuptials are ruined by rows and tantrums.

The special day gets off to a bad start when Sadie argues with her mother-in-law Rosemary.

Things worsen when Sadie's ex-love Matthew King arrives at the church in a bid to stop the wedding.

As horrified guests watch, Alasdair - played by Ray Coulthard - ends up brawling with Matthew outside the chapel.

A source revealed to Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Matthew still has a flame for Sadie and hopes to get her to change her mind. Alasdair soon gets fed up with him being around spoiling the big day and they end up getting involved in a brawl. "Matthew comes off worse as he gets a right hook to the jaw and ends up in a bloodied heap on the floor."
