The Mitchell brothers narrowly escape with their lives after their feud with Johnny Allen in a gripping 'EastEnders' storyline.
Phil and Grant Mitchell - played by Steve McFadden and Ross Kemp - track down the gangster, played by Billy Murray, in the Essex countryside.
They try to confront him about the murder of Sharon Rickman's husband, Dennis, but find themselves tied up and waiting for a hit man to murder them.
A show source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Grant and Phil, who got the better of him in Albert Square last time, are over-confident and bite off far more than they can chew.
"In fact, they realise they are out of their league far too late for their own good."
But the brothers may have found an ally in Johnny's daughter, Ruby, who contemplates saving them.
Viewers will be left wondering whether the teenager, played by actress Louisa Lytton, is brave enough to go through with it.
The insider said: "Perhaps the tough guy Mitchells will end up owing their lives to a slip of a girl."
