Royal Babies: Zara is pregnant!

Now Zara Phillips is expecting her first baby, it has been confirmed

Kate Middleton is not the only Royal family member to be expecting her first child. Now, Zara Phillips is pregnant, Buckingham Palace has said.

Zara, aged 32, and husband Mike Tindall are expecting their baby early next year. The pair’s wedding took place two years ago.

Buckingham Palace’s statement read: “Mr and Mrs Mike Tindall are very pleased to announce that Zara Tindall is expecting a baby in the New Year.

“The Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips, Mr Phillip and Mrs Linda Tindall, and members of both families are delighted with the news.

“This baby will be the first child for Mike and Zara and the third grandchild for The Princess Royal.”

Zara is the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II and daughter to the Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips.

Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their first baby this month. Their royal baby will be third in line to the throne. The pair celebrated their wedding anniversary a few months ago after marrying in April, 2011.
