Rod Stewart has been serenading his unborn baby - by singing to fiancée Penny Lancaster's bump.
The ageing rocker gave a rendition of traditional Celtic song 'Fields of Athenry' to his girlfriend's tummy when they appeared together on British TV chat show GMTV.
The 60-year-old also revealed their baby, which is due next month, will be delivered in a birthing pool.
He joked: "I have to get in the tub as well - I've got my G-string ready!"
Earlier this week, it was revealed Rod is ready to play emergency midwife - in case the couple can't get to hospital in time.
The singer has been attending ante natal classes to learn what to do if model Penny goes into labour unexpectedly.
But the star admitted he fell asleep in some of the early morning tutorials because he had stayed up late watching soccer on TV.
Rod revealed: "I've done my emergency birth classes in Los Angeles. But I would always fall asleep in the morning because I'd had to get up to watch football in the middle of the night."
