My Secret Kitchen, the first food tasting company in the UK, proudly announced the launch of their sweet seasoning mix, also the first in the UK. The mix is part of the company’s range of Secret Spices.
The sweat seasoning mix is called Secret Vanilla Pudding Spices, which feature a clever blend of vanilla, cinnamon, ground coriander seed, ginger, and the final secret ingredient, roasted cassia.
Cassia, otherwise known as Chinese cinnamon, is similar to cinnamon bark but has a stronger flavour. When roasted, it creates a very unique toasted flavour that adds a tasty twist to baking favourites such as puddings and desserts.
It is especially wonderful when added to a traditional English apple pie.
Phil Moran, co-founder of My Secret Kitchen, explained: “There are so many varieties of savoury seasonings in the marketplace, why not sweet? Our Vanilla Pudding Secret Spices help continue our quest to provide people with different ingredients that have a multitude of uses. You can use it as a sweet topping for drinks, mixing into custard, or dusting onto popcorn or marshmallows.”
Aside from the Vanilla Pudding Secret Spices, the company also introduced the Firecracker Chilli Secret Spice, with adds a fiery flavour to any dish thanks to the unique blend of sweet and mild ancho, dark and liquorice-like pasilla, and red and fruity guajillo.
Both Secret Spices are priced at £4.49 and are now available on the market.
