Mariah Carey was rushed to hospital on Sunday night, 7th July, with a dislocated shoulder. The Grammy-winning singer suffered the injury while on the set of her latest music promo.
The singer’s spokeswoman, Cindi Berger confirmed the news on Monday. “Mariah fell while filming a video for the remix of #Beautiful, directed by her husband Nick Cannon.”
Talking to the New York Post, the spokesman added: “She was taken to hospital late last night, where doctors reset her shoulder. She is fine and is recovering at home.”
A source told the New York Post that the songstress may have tripped and fallen in her high heels at Avenue nightclub in Chelsea in downtown Manhattan.
Mariah is scheduled to perform at a free concert on Central Park’s Great Lawn on July 13th. “She will perform, but it is likely she will have her arm in a sling,” a source commented.
