Madonna has set her sights on showing her film at the Venice Film Festival after it was snubbed by Cannes.
The 46-year-old star is so determined to have the documentary about her recent tour shown in the Italian city - she is personally jetting down to the South of France to speak with festival bosses this week.
The queen of pop is planning to hold back-to-back meetings with the Venice organisers in the luxury Hotel Du Cap in Nice.
The sexy singer's move comes after her film, called Re-Invented Process, was shunned by organisers of the Cannes Film Festival - despite the fact she had edited a special version for the star-studded event.
A source said : "Madonna was very disappointed when Cannes organisers decided against screening the film, she hopes getting it shown in Venice will make up for it."
Yesterday (16.05.05), it was alleged mother-of-two Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie had turned to alternative therapy to help conceive another baby.
The couple are reportedly popping Indian fertility pills after Madonna had a consultation with top London doctor Dr Gowri Motha.
