Matthew King finally gets his way with blonde barmaid Louise Appleton in Emmerdale.
He has been chasing the Aussie stunner for weeks, giving boyfriend Terry Woods some serious worries that his girl is about to leave him.
And he is right to be worried, for the flirting between businessman Matthew, played by Matt Healy, and Louise starts to hot up into something much more.
A few drinks at a birthday party stoke the flames and when Louise, played by Emily Symons, finds herself alone with Matthew in the pub, sparks fly.
"There is an intense sexual chemistry between them and they just can't help themselves," an insider told the Daily Star.
However, Terry, played by Billy Hartman, has not been weakened by his stroke so much that he is prepared to stand by and watch his lover dump him for another man.
Although he knows his relationship is done for, he makes Matthew realise that he can't just take Louise without a fight - and punches him in the Woolpack.
It is the second time in weeks that Matthew has been lamped in the local - the last time was courtesy of his brother Jimmy, who lost a vital contract to his smooth-talking sibling.
