Corrie's Katy Harris leaves a heartfelt confession note detailing why she killed her dad and how the guilt finally caused her to take her own life.
The troubled teen describes how she felt about the break-up of her relationship with Martin and her abortion: "My heart was breaking and I had lost everything."
In the suicide note, which is revealed today in the Daily Mirror, Katy tells how she blamed Tommy for all her troubles and was determined to confront him.
"All he could do was laugh and say that, to him, killing our baby and splitting Martin and me up was better than winning the lottery," she writes.
"He kept gloating how he'd got his way and kept calling Martin a pervert and I was getting madder and madder until finally I snapped and went out of control and hit him on the head with a wrench."
She added: "I thought I'd just hurt him a bit but when [mum] held him in her arms and started crying, I realised he was dead."
Katy, played by Lucy-Jo Hudson, said that watching her mum get arrested for Tommy's murder was too much for her to bear and hopes her confession will set Angela free.
"I don't deserve to live anymore and death is the only way out for me," the tragic letter ends.
