The Spice Girls will definitely reform for charity show Live 8.
The five girls - Mel C, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Mel B and Victoria Beckham - are set to reunite for the spectacular charity concert on July 2, in London's Hyde Park, according to Britain's News of the World newspaper.
A source revealed: "The girls really wanted to be part of Live 8. They've been discussing the possibility of reforming for the last year or so, but they agreed it had to be for something special. What's more special than Live 8?"
It will be the first time all five members have been on stage together since Geri quit the band in 1998 after a bust-up with Mel B, better known as Scary Spice.
It has also been revealed the girls plan to use the performance at the concert as a launch pad for a new single, greatest hits album and special reunion tour.
Last week, Mel C revealed she was desperate for the group to reform for the charity event - taking place simultaneously in five different cities, including Rome and Paris - which is being staged to increase awareness of the poverty in Africa.
She said: "If it was just for financial gain I wouldn't be up for it." (c) BANG Media International
