Dido is penning a special song for Christina Aguilera.
The mild-mannered singer, who wrote hit, 'I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman' for Christina's rival Britney Spears, has been asked to write a track suitable for the 'Dirrty' singer - who is trying to tone down her raunchy image.
The as-yet-unnamed single, which will be included on Aguilera's third album due out later this year, has been described as "retro" and "gritty".
Christina, 24, said of the record by 33-year-old Dido: "It's a retro blues-soul-jazz-record. It's really gritty and raw."
Meanwhile, Dido, who is set to appear at this summer's Live 8 charity show, is currently supposed to be on a one-year break from performing - so she can travel the world in search of musical inspiration.
She said earlier this year: "I'm going to spend the year travelling and writing. I want to work on a new album and enjoy it properly, so I'm going to head off.
"Asia would be cool, I think I'd like to go back to New Zealand for quite a while, because that was beautiful. Might go to South Africa.
"There's loads of places I want to go to... what a great life, eh? I want to see as much as I can."
