Kelly Osbourne was once addicted to codeine lollipops.
The 20-year-old rock chick, who battled with drug addiction last year, said: "I got my friend to get me the codeine lollipops they give to old people when they're dying because they're too ill to swallow pills."
She added in the interview with Britain's Marie Claire magazine: "When I was giving up drugs I couldn't eat, I was throwing up and peeing and s****** - it was the most disgusting thing."
"All the opiates are released into your system, and it makes you feel like someone has beaten the s*** out of you."
Earlier this year, the reality TV star - whose father, rocker Ozzy Osbourne has a history of drug and alcohol abuse, said addiction was an illness which runs in her family.
She said: "I'd been doing drugs since I was 13. I think drug addiction is a genetic disease - my dad's had it, so did my brother. No one would look down on us if we had cancer."
