Save the crust to lie on top of the remaining loaf to create a lid-like object to keep the loaf fresh. Ideally, bread should be kept cool and dry, at around 21C.

Always reseal the pack after opening it so it doesn't dry out. Also if you freeze bread on the day you buy it, it will keep for three months. You can take it out slice by slice.
