Robert Downey Jr. had previously lip-synched Elton John's 'I Want Love' for the celebrated music video, and when 'The Futurist' came around in 2004 it proved to a welcome blend of pop, folk and jazz. Downey shows off his impressive piano and vocal talents through a collection of catchy ballads to great effect.

Success rating: Four stars for the strong voice and original, if a bit sappy, compositions.
