This bizarre sci-fi picture starring and co-produced by John Travolta, based on the book by Scientology founder L Ron Hubbard, was a major commercial failure and critical flop.

A poor script, overuse of strange camera angles, and bad acting garnered negative reviews and won an epic seven Golden Raspberry Awards, out of nine nominations.  

It has also been nominated for the Worst Picture of the Decade special award for the 2010 Razzies.

But, believe it or not, there was a film even worse than this travestyÂ…
