Founded in 1946 Polydor's first real break came in 1960 when they signed the band The Beat Brothers. Less than two years later with a new image and new drummer this band became The Beatles and history was made.

From this point on things only got better. Talent scouts signed the likes of The Who, Jimi Hendrix and by the end of the 60's had Cream and the Bee Gees signed. Even today Polydor have some of the best and brightest in the business, Snow Patrol, the Hives and Ms Dynamite.
