Charlie Kaufman doesn't really write conventional films. He's the scribe behind 'Being John Malkovich' and 'Adaptation', but it's this film that takes the most chances. Jim Carrey plays a man trying to forget his longterm girlfriend (Kate Winslet) who broke his heart.
So he decides to wipe his memory of her using a revolutionary new medical procedure. Along the way we go for a trip into his brain as the memories are being deleted, making for a fragmented, incresingly bizarre narrative and chain of events.
