'The Corpse Bride' (2005)

For 'The Corpse Bride', Tim Burton's second stop motion animated feature, he turned to his long time partner in film and friend, Johnny Depp.

Depp plays Victor Van Dort who, when practicing his wedding vows in the woods and placing the ring on what he thinks is a branch, accidently ends up wedding Emily, a corpse.

Johnny Depp has been nominated for three Academy Awards, including his iconic role as Jack Sparrow in the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' films.
