'Aladdin' (1992)

Disney's 'Aladdin' featured the voice talents of actor/comedian Robin Williams as the Genie. He was initially not interested in the role until he saw footage of the Genie animated to audio from his stand up shows.

Many consider this to be Williams' greatest moment in his career and one of the greatest animated characters of all time.

Robin Williams has won an Oscar for best supporting actor in 'Good Will Hunting' as well as a special achievement award for his role as Genie.
