Real life inspiration: Alexander the Great

In reality: Alexander is revered as one the greatest military leaders to have ever lived. Believed to have been undefeated in battle, by the time of his death he had conquered the majority of the (then) known world for the Greek Empire.

In the movies: Alexander has been brought to life on the silver screen more than once over the years. Most recently he was portrayed by Colin Farrell in Oliver Stone's epic film flop.
