The roof of the Apple building

During the recording of 'Get Back' in 1969 the band decided to take to the roof of the Apple Building in west London for an impromptu gig. After a handful of songs the police turned up because office workers were complaining about the noise. They turned off John Lennon and George Harrison's amps, only for Harrison to switch them back on.
