Arsenal is different to other major clubs in the Premier League as they do not trade on a public exchange, making their 62,219 shares exclusive.

Owned by parent company Arsenal Holdings plc, the group has around 12 subsidiary companies, including the club itself, Arsenal (Emirates Stadium) and Arsenal Overseas Ltd.

Shareholders currently own 45.2% of the club, with the largest being Stan Kroenke, who has 29.9% of that. The American is already a sports tycoon, who owns basketball team Denver Nuggets, soccer team Colorado Rapids and hockey team Colorado Avalanche.
