Named as the richest man in football, Mansour has injected a reported £750 million in just two years at Eastlands. The brother of the ruler of Abu Dhabi, who bought Manchester City for a reported £210 million, wants to make the club even bigger than their closest rivals Manchester United but has thus far failed to do so.

The only club to really spend over the summer, City have received much criticism for how much they have invested in players. They have, however, had a bright start to the season and with other competitors making weak performances, many have pondered whether this could be the year they shine.
