One of the world's leading pop acts

Claiming to be a polished act, the pop duo, Fab Morvan and Rob Pilatus, fooled audiences into thinking they were exceptionally great when performing live. But during a show in 1989 when the recording of a song they were miming along to began to stick, their big fib was over.

It was discovered that it wasn't even their own voices they were lip-syncing to, but those of other vocalists. The pair had to hand back their Grammy award and swiftly vanished out of the limelight.
