Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon and her partner Christine Marinoni welcomed a baby boy on 8 February.

Marinoni gave birth to the couple’s first child, Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni and a spokesperson for the pair said that “Christine and baby are doing great".

The couple chose not to announce that they were expecting and have not released any details regarding the identity of the childÂ’s biological father.
