Arguably one of the sexiest stars in film history, French siren Brigitte Bardot was responsible for launching millions of boys into puberty during the 1960s. With great beauty comes great heartbreak, however, and the star of 'And God Created Woman' went through three very public divorces before eventually retiring from acting at the age of 39.
Turning her attention to literature, Bardot was sued and subsequently convicted three times during the '90s for publishing comments that derided Muslims. The French stunner was charged again in 2004 for inciting racial hatred in her best-selling book, 'A Scream in the Silence', in which she attacked homosexuals, Muslims and immigration policies.
