1. London Eye
The magnificent London Eye is the largest big wheel in the world. It stands 135 metres (443 feet) high on the western end of Jubilee Gardens, on the South Bank of the River Thames. The Eye resembles a huge spoked bicycle wheel and has been visited by around 8.5 million people since it's opening in 1999. The Eye was originally intended to be around for only five years. However, due to its enormous popularity it has since become a permanent attraction.
