People in the United Kingdom are the most burgled in the EU. They are three times more likely to be burgled than their European neighbours.

In a European Union survey 3.3 per cent of Brits had been burgled, whereas the continental average is 1.7 per cent. Britain also has the highest level of violent assault in Europe.
