A survey conducted by Radio Times online saw more than 2,500 people vote for their favourite British film.

The classic 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' starts off the countdown in at No 10. As this is not the only film in the shortlist staring John Cleese and co, it can be assured that this comedy team hold a place in the nation's hearts.
