This film is based on the novel Moneyball name by Micahel Lewis, who in turn based his novel on the true story of the Oakland A's baseball team.
The general manager of the team, Billy Beane is challenged with putting together a successful team whilst only being able to pay the lowest salaries in the MLA.
He decides to use statistics to analyze which players will be the most successful.
This film had fantastic Rotten Tomatoes ratings, with the film being loved by the critics (95%) and audience (89%) alike.
