This summer Van Halen will be reuniting with former lead man David Lee Roth, for a 40-city North American whirlwind summer tour.

Guitarist Eddie Van Halen issued a statement on his group's website that says, "I am very excited to get back to the core of what made Van Halen."

Roth last performed with Van Halen in 1984. Original bassist, Michael Anthony, left the band in 2006 and has been replaced by Eddie Van Halens 15-year-old son, Wolfgang.
