Audrey Hepburn is the dirt-ridden cockney flower seller Eliza Doolittle (complete with an over-the-top accent), while a deadpan Rex Harrison is the phonetics professor Henry Higgins who believes that a personÂ’s accent and tone of voice can drastically alter their position in society.
