If there’s one animated musical to watch, it has to be Disney’s ‘The Lion King’. Influenced by Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’, this tale of wild animals battling for their place in their kingdom is the highest grossing traditionally animated film of all time.

Back before Phil Collins became the animated film industry’s weapon of choice, the classic tunes in ‘The Lion King’ were composed by Elton John with lyricist Tim Rice, perfectly encapsulating Hans Zimmer’s score. Hits included ‘Circle of Life', 'Can You Feel the Love Tonight' and 'Hakuna Matata'.
