Friends cast set for Simpsons debut
Friends stars to play gay holidaymakers in The Simpsons.

After the airing of their last ever episode the cast of "Friends" are preparing for their debut on "The Simpsons".
The six actors - David Schwimmer, Matt Le Blanc, Matthew Perry, Jennifer Anniston, Courtney Cox Arquette and Lisa Kudrow - will play a group of gay holidaymakers in a special episode to be shown early next year.
"Friends" established the group as household names and put them among the highest paid television stars in the US.
According to the Daily Star, the writing team on "The Simpsons" worked flat out to get the script right.
The "Friends" cast provide the voices of characters at a gay holiday camp where Homer and family end up after making a mistake with the booking.
Other stars who have provided voices for "The Simpsons" include Mel Gibson, Sting, Kelsey Grammer, Ringo Starr and Tony Blair.
Meanwhile, The Sun reports today that Channel 4 is favourite to land "Friends" spin-off "Joey".
The new show follows the fortunes of "Friends" heartbreaker Joey Tribianni.
