The presenter confirmed that she was expecting her first child with her husband on live television after Louis Walsh and Will Young made comments during the filming of The Xtra Factor.

Walsh let the news slip after congratulating her, to which the star replied: "I don't know if people know that yet, but yes, I'm pregnant. I'm feeling emotional already tonight, let's move on."

She gave birth to a boy named Harry James Baldwin, weighing 7lb 4oz, on May 11 2009.
